Andy Eidson, chief executive and director of Alpha Metallurgical Resources, will give the keynote address at the 2025 Bluefield Coal & Mining Show, September 10-12 at the Brushfork Armory in Bluefield, W.Va.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are thrilled that Mr. Eidson is able to join us and to present his views on the future of the coal industry,\u201d said Jeff Disibbio, president and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias, which owns and produces the show. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is certainly an exciting start to our event and we are excited to provide an unparalleled Bluefield welcome to Andy as well as to the mining folks from all 25 coal-producing states of the country, who will attend.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eidson has served as CEO and director of Alpha Metallurgical Resources since January 2023. He previously served as the company\u2019s president from August 2022 and as president and chief financial officer from December 2020. Prior to joining Alpha Natural Resources in July 2010, Eidson held several financial positions across industry sectors, including at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bluefield Coal & Mining Show is held every two years. The theme of the 2025 show will be \u201cConnecting Buyers & Sellers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
